The Institute of Medical Psychology at the University of Lübeck celebrated its re-establishment yesterday
To kick off the celebration at the CBBM, acting President Prof. Dr. Gabriele Gillessen-Kaesbach embarked on an exciting journey through time to the beginnings of medical psychology in her welcoming address. Guest of honour Prof. Dr. Beate Ditzen from the sister institute of Heidelberg University Hospital and Vice President of the German Society for Medical Psychology drew the bow to current and future research. Thank you very much for your inspiring lecture on social bonds and their effects on our health!
Now research and teaching at the IMP in the Babylab under Prof. Dr. Sarah Jessen, Cognitive Neuroscience under Prof. Dr. Ulrike Krämer and Musicians' Health under Prof. Dr. Daniel Scholz can take off in the spirit of interdisciplinarity.
